Default Parking Brake Adjustment

I checked the ALLDATA database, and it says that in order to adjust the parking brakes on 4-wheel disk brake mercedes, you must first remove one lug bolt, raise the vehicle, and then check through the lug bolt hole whith the wheel at a 45 degree angle until you see an "adjustment star." I saw a couple of springs and spots where they were connected, but I can't figure out what exactly the adjustment star is. I realize it is not something you twist, so I stuck in a flathead screwdriver and tried to move the connecter between the springs up and down, or side to side, but the only thing that happened was that the entire spring setup would just move to the side. There was no "adjustment" about it.

Could anyone explain what I am doing wrong and what the adjustment star actually looks like? Also, what is the motion for turning the star once I find it?

Thank You,

Oh, the fax machine is on the same line. It will pick up automatically after the answering machine has come on. Could you please try again tomorrow? When you hear the answering machine, just let your machine keep going, mine will pick up a few seconds after the answering machine starts. If you can't get it to work, you can email it to me at lilcorey@comcast.net

Thank You
