Default Oxygen Sensor

The 02 light comes on daily in my 87 260E, I would like to clean or replace the sensors. so my question is, where are they and how should I clean them?

Default oxygen sensor

You have one sensor on that car and it is located on your catalytic converter near the front.

buy universal bosch unit 50 euros ish and follow the instructions on leaflet on how to connect wires.
you will need to tell your factor if it is 3 wire or 4wire good luck

Thanks,

Actually I went back in my records and found that i had the sensor replaced, but the issue is still occurring, with sputtering and some stalling. The shop that i take has no idea what the problem is,Im at a loss.

Clean up your throttle body & replace the o2 sensor ...for some cars there are 2pcs... i would just replace all of it... an aging sensors tend to break down

hope it works out
