I'm new to this forum and it seems a good place!

I've just bought a 1999 E300 Turbo-D Avantgarde Saloon. The previous owner had a Sony radio fitted and when I went to fit my own Pioneer unit today I found that the factory ISO radio connector had been chopped off and a sony connector fitted directly to the wires!

I've got the basic radio working but I cannot figure out which wire does the ignition switched power supply and which does the illumunation dimming when the headlights are on. I'd be very grateful if somebody could let me know the colour coding!
