no heat on feet

RE: no heat on feet
Are we talking about the foot well vents? I have heat on the drivers side foot well but no heat on passenger side UNLESS while heater is on I push upward thru the passenger foot well vent with a writing pen (Bic).
This opens the flap and it stays open, maybe a day or two, I'm thinking I have a weak vac pod (leaky diaphragm) or a crack in the vac. line. I'm going to wedge the flap open as the labor cost to remove the dash to replace pods is 7hr.
Try the Bic and let us know. Smedley

I read that if you take out the glove box, there is a manifold of about seven vacuum lines. Test each one of those lines with like a Mityvac and see if they hold vacuum. If not, it's a bad pod (related to that line) as was mentioned and the whoring job of getting to it by removing the dash.
It goes without saying that if you do have to remove the dash, replace or rebuild (some are rebuildable) all the pods whether they test out or not.
