Hello. I just found this forum and have already found quite a bit of usefull information. I have an 86' 300E with about 154k. Its a real clean and good running car. I added a new stereo and some 16" 5 spoke rims. I also need to get some new headlamps as mine are quite hazy. I am also considering a new intake, etc.
But, before I do any of that I have two things that I want to take care of. First the passenger side armrest has pulled out from the door. The plastic buttons etc. are broken. I have been searching for some time on where to get a repair kit but I have had no luck. Secondly, Im taking the car to Florida in a few weeks from Ny.I will have the car pretty much full for the trip and was thinking I should upgrade the suspension with HD shocks possibly. I am not worried about the ride being harsh. I would prefer the car to handle well rather thanhave a"smooth" ride. Any suggestions would be appretiated. Thanks!
