The factory stereo is good for its age. I like the clean look and feel of the existing radio and matching climate control system. Trouble is, I would like to get a built-in single or double din nav system, or at least an aux input that sounds good. I already tried the cassette tape adapter and the Monster Cable FM transmitter. Not satisfied with the results. Has anyone done a decent looking retrofit of a nav system or at least figured out how to get decent sound from an external source (iphone/ipod)?
Thanks
Mike

If you have the space on the dash, which I think you should, the Pioneer AVIC-F900, Its a great unit and looks very clean in the dash. You really get your money's worth with the Pioneer too. I believe it may have to be fitted to the dash, with me, i cut the dash to fit the sat nav. The sound quality is also quite good, I havent tried the Iphone yet but the aux is great compared to others. Here's a link if you wanted to see it.
