Hi guys i'd jsut like to ask your opinion regarding a Mercedes Benz 230e. Im from the Phil. and I am about to purchase one. What are the common problems of this unit and model?. According to the owner the sunroof isn't working. That's basically it. No engine Leaks and suspension is in great condition. I Will visually inspect it over the week end. Thanks. I hope somoene could help me.

 

btw here are the details of the car..i forgot.. I chose this model since it doesn't have too much electronics and would be cheaper for me to maintain and would be easier in case something comes up with the engine.

Common problems for that car are sunroof, and central lock system. The Motors and transmissions are very sound if maintained properly. I have seen many well over 300K plus miles Paint looks to be a repaint from pictures. Not an issue if done properly. Have a Professional Check for previous body damage. What Price is this car? 1-3K usd. would be a fair price for that model.

 

well.. im here from the Philippines and its just a swap with my Honda Civic 1993 model with a JDM b16a SiR Engine. my car costs around 200,000.00 php on Phil Peso. exchange rate now is 47 pesos = 1 us dollars. btw.. is the sunroof expensive to restore?
