Just to clarify for everyone, this procedure will not result in more power being produced by the engine. Throttle response and shift timing adapt to more aggressive parameters due to the throttle being held at wide open.

AMCGURU,just to clear it up I pointed out in post 4 and post 8 that all it does is reset the trans to factory settings,never implied it gave the car more power,just moved the shift points and rpm of those points.Sorry for any confusion.

On board diagnostics for the climate control and access to the other features is easier on my typing skills to point you to the member who wrote the software program and refined it

Yes.
All fly by wire throttle models will reset to factory drive settings using the procedure.

is the 2007 E550 fly by wire? When I first brought the car, I drove quite docile. After the broken in period, I tried step on the gas to feel the V8 and it takes a second for it to get going. I was a little disappointed. Hope this correction will help.
