Default 400E Evaporator temperature sensor?

Could this be the solution for my problem? In my case, when my car is cold, the A/C starts cold for 15 minutes until the engine temp gauge gets warm around 90-100C, then the A/C shuts off and no more cold air. When the outside temp is cooler around 80 and I run the A/C, the air stays cooler longer. When on, the A/C is ICE cold, but then warm air starts being introduced and eventually no more cold air. Any help in solving this would be great. What part, location and access.
