I have a 1989 300E series. I have 2 questions.
1) The SRS light comes on intermittently. I know it has something to do with my air bag system, but don't know what exactly. Also the light bulb indicator light is on yet I don't have any light bulbs out anywhere...why is it still staying on. Any help with these 2 ?? will be appreciated

 

The light bulb failure light only comes on when the particular failled bulb is turned on does it come on right away? Did you check the brake lights? As for the SRS light if you could specify when exactly it happens the. In my90'this light comes on occasionally but only when it is hot out and I am on the highway over 65 and when I turn the steering wheel at a certain angle. The problem if the light flickers after turning the wheel is likely that the steering wheel contact sliprings have broken wire or have damaged the solderjoint this requires removal of the steering wheel and the replacement of the slip rings. I believe code number3 would also bestored.
