in my 1990 300TE...the engine runs like butter all of a sudden..truly amazing...I thought the shuddering was plugs but this is beyond my best hope

 

Yeah, the 103 engine was designed around copper core plugs. It's no surprise that premium copper core plugs are giving you outstanding results.

yes...something about tritium or something core..supposed to provide 50% longer life but I don't care about that...the car runs like new now so....and no national parts chain stocks these things..must go to a local european parts dealer to get them...autozone, pepboys, carquest...they all tell you the same thing...nope, gotta put in the platinums, we don't even stock the coppers...platinums are junk for older engines, it's like a conspiracy to promote profit...I swear these chains are junk for specific items...they are OK for oil and wax and stuff but I don't trust them for important things any further than I could throw their stock value....
