Default Jack pads from Autohausaz

I just want to warm you that do not purchase Jack Pads from Autohausaz.com made from MTC. The item # from Autohausaz is 0019979586. It is made of plastic and not rubber. It will not stand any pressure from the car and the plastic shatters when contacted with a jack stand. A piece of the plastic blasted and cut through my face, it was a horrifying experience with those pads。

I have all the evidence and photos from the instance. Any laywers out there that might like to represent me in suiting MTC and Autohausaz?

your complaint isn't with Autohausaz. that is the same item and part # sold by MB dealers.
hard plastic. you should perform a modicum of investigation.

Raymond, you are partially right. The 0019979586 is OEM # for jack pads and Autohausaz's item # is using the OEM, but they are selling M.T.C. #3531 Made in India.

Here is what I have found;

Autohausaz lists M.T.C. #3531 as 0019979586.
The difference between them is that M.T.C. pad is made of hollow hard plastic on the contact surface and as the geniune part is made of solid rubber on the contact part.
