Default Interior Drilling

I have a 300D on the 124 chassis.
if you own it, you know that there is no place to put anything.
I recently purchased a cell phone holder online, and it requires drilling to be held in place.
It is a 15" gooseneck holder, and i want to drill underneath the dash, on the passenger side, next to the middle console, where A/C and radio controls are located.
I do not know what lies behind this area though and don't want to drill into anything that will cost a lot of money to replace. does anyone know if this can be done?
I will post a pic if you don't know where i am talking about drilling.

Thanks
Sam
