How to bleed cooling system
Hi, all.
After replacing my upper radiator hose, and re-filling the system, I drove the car for a few days, and all seemed well.
Now, however, the coolant level light remains lit, even though the coolant tank is about 3/4 full.
I suspect that there is trapped air in the system.
Where is the bleed valve for this?
1992 400E
It looks like I'll be needing the factory manual.
I understand that these are available on CD, but from where?
Regards,
Vorpal

RE: How to bleed cooling system
I bought a "repair manual" on CD from eBay and it sucked - it's like some bootleg flash CD and it's worthless. I just saw some Bentley manuals (Bentley Publishing) for W124s and it was only $25 + $4 shipping. Bentley is the way to go. Haynes and Chilton aren't even worth using to wipe the oil off your hands.
