Hello again, I am new to posting here. My Dad bought a 1996 Mercedes-Benz (w210) E320 from an auction a few months ago. With the intention of bringing the car back to life. The car would not start when he purchased it and the drive shaft was disconnected too for whatever reason. Since then he has had the drive shaft connected, replaced various fuses, a Crank position sensor, the air box, and a computer (ECU). The car had been running for a week when out of nowhere it just shut down on him at a stop light. He had it towed home. He had all the work done on it by a general mechanic. So I have advised him to find a Mercedes or German auto specific mechanic. Until then anyone have any advice or ideas what to troubleshoot? Thanks in advance!
