Hey, i have a 1987 mercedes 300e and the headlight lowbeams work whenever they choose. Please help me out. Headlight lowbeams, left corner lense will only work whenever they want to, its extremely dangerous. The signal for the left lense will ALWAYS work but just not the constant light, the fog lights will always work, the highbeams and the other corner lense will always work but not the other stuff i mentioned above.
The other night i had one fog light appear to be burnt out but it came back on today so im not sure if the switch is the problem, or what is happening, nothing wrong happens with the back lights whatso ever its only the front lights, so im confused to if its the switch that is the problem or not. If not, what could be happening, where might be the problem lie, is this a common problem? Please give me an answer. Thanks.

-Replaced the switch inside, still having the problems.

replace the fuses, even if they don't appear to be burnt and see if that doesn't help...good luck...cliff
