Hi,

I just bought a 2005 E 200 K. Its in pretty good shape, but the headlights look foggy and on closer inspection, a little scratched up. The dealership informed me that I need to replace them (but that costs a lot)! Is there anything I can do to make it look clear again? I just cant tell if its from the inside or outside (or both)!! It just makes the whole car look older the way it is. By the way, I don't live in the US, so may not be able to access specialized cleaning products, etc.

there are plastic restoration buffing kits at auto parts stores. prepare to lend plenty of
elbow grease.

one person reported having good success using kitchen oven cleaning spray but i've not
read of long term effects, ie how long lasting the results
