Default FSS wont't reset Please HELP

I just change the oil on my wife E320, and no matter what I tried, I could not reset the FSS waning light. I have done this many time in the past, but this time I could not get it to work
The car has 90 K Miles in the clock and I do follow the manual like the instruction below

1, Turn electronic key in steering lock to position 2.

Within 4 seconds press button "0" twice.

2, The present status for days or distance is displayed. Within 10 seconds turn electronic key in steering lock to position 0.

3, Press and hold button "0", while turning electronic key in steering lock to position 2 again. The present status for days or distance is displayed once more. Continue to hold button "0".

After approx. 10 seconds a signal sounds, and the display shows 10 000 miles (Canada: 15 000 km) for approx. 10 seconds.

4, Release button "0".

Can some one advice any other method

Thanks

make sure the door is closed.

step 1. turn key to position 2
step 2. push 0 button 2 times after fss info comes up hold down the 0 button(keep it held down till the end of the process) very quickly turn key from position 2 to position 0 and then back to position 2 keep holding that 0 button till you hear a beep and the fss reads 10000. be aware the car must not start throughout this process.
