Im going to exchange the cabin air filters on my E320 -01. And I have some questions if someone can help me.

Where are these filters located? I have searched the forum and only found 1 post that said they are located under feetpanel at passanger side... But are all the filters located there? Read on what mercedes told me :
I have called mercedes and they have told me there are 2 regualar filter and then there is a charcoal filter or maybe 2 didnt ask how many charcoal filters there was? Dosent feel like all of them are at the same spot?
Had a bmw 5 series before and they had 2 filters also, one at each side of enginebay below windscreen.
I have the large automatic ac system with a display and buttons around it.

The pair of regular filters shall be exchanged every B service and the charcoal filter(s) shall be exchanged every second B service is this the correct exhange periods?

Is this a American forum? My car is built for German market so I dont know if there are any diffrens to the American versions but at this point I doubt there should be any.

Finally I would ask what is the modelname on a E class -01 and what is the enginecode/name for the E320 engine.

Cabin air filters on passengers side above NVH closing plate.
Dead easy albeit a little tricky to change if you get on your back in the footwell.
need to move closing panel. A couple of screws then move panel towards bulkhead. then pull end nearest the screws down towards footwell and it should come away.
Your info appears correct re filters.
You remove the filters by sliding "clips" along the filter housing. Will send you a pic if you have problems but don't have time at present.
Will leave the others to answer model definition. I only know my own model w210 I think.

I have exchanged the charcoal filters under glovecompartment but I cant get to the dust filters that are right below the windscreen behind the glovecompartment.

How do I reach these filters? I have taken away stuff in the enginecomรฅartment so I can see the filters from there but there is an airvent that prevents me to get the filters that way.

I have taken away all the screws i can see to the glovecompartment including the one under the light. But I cant remove the glovecompartment. Its loose but still it stucks somewhere at the upper edge. Someone who knows what to do? Or how to exchange the dust filters?

 

I succeded at last to exchange all 4 filters. Those behind the glove compartment was really hard when you dont know how to get to them...
