Engine Swap Possible?

RE: Engine Swap Possible?
Anything's possible! But because of software issues and/or differences that are inherent in the "donee" car (for lack of a better word), it would be next to impossible to successfully graft a C-Class engine into an E-Class car. Even upgrading a late model (2003 to 2005) E320's headlight system can't be done without updating the software in the car to properly accept the Xenon upgrade.

Hi, just came across this, I currently own a w108 and am certainly interested in a later model Mercedes v8 swap ideally from 2008-2010 model c63, was wondering if you found any useful information on this swap or better if you went ahead with the project? Hope to hear your reply
