I have an e500 2003 with 99k miles. The check engine light came on. How do I turn it off?

Get the codes read and post them here so you can find out what they are trying to tell you.Post all stored codes,then clear them.You can get them read for free at autozone,pep boys,and other auto parts stores.Post them here before running off to a shop to have it fixed,someone will tell you how to do it much cheaper.
