Default E350 VRS for Telephone Driving Me Crazy!

Loving the new Benz, but a part of the VRS for the telephone system is driving me crazy. I have a 2010 E350. I have repeatedly set up an address book containing a first name, phone number and voice ID every way it can be done - download, manual entry, voice entry...you name it.

But no matter how I try to dial by name I always get the response "Please select a line number."

So if I say "Dial Name" or "Find Name" or "Call Name" or even "Call Bob", I always get the response: "Please select a line number."

What this means is I have to scroll through a list of 30 names to find Bob on line 27. Totally defeats the purpose.

This is even more frustrating when the Comand manual specifically addresses the above commands and says the VRS reply should be "please say the name" for any of the above. That's a quote from the manual!!

Of course Mercedes is clueless!! Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

I have only had my E350 for two days, the dealership blames my HTC Droid. Have you solved the problem?
