Default E320 to E350 wheel swap

I had a 2004 E320 that I recently sold and got a 2006 E350 4 matic. The problem is that the aftermarket wheels that seemed to work just fine on the 320 don't seem right on the E350. There seems to be more tire scrub and they generate much more road noise. Does anyone know if there is a difference between the 2 cars or is part of the problem that one is 2 wheel drive and the other all wheel? Sorry for the dumb questions but it just doesn't seem right.
