Hi, could someone please help me or give me some idea as to why the indicators (and also the hazard system and rear window heater) work only at certain times when i'm driving. The last thing i can remember doing to it since it hasn't worked is when i fitted a subwoofer and amp into the boot andran the wires through the car from the battery under the bonnet. Although it has worked fine for quite some time since i did this, but this is the only change i know which may've affected it.

I have checked the fuse box too but all seems well. The strange thing is that sometimes the indicators will work fine and then a second later they just won't work at all again. I am considering taking it to a garage and have someone look at it but i would rather find out if it's something simple rather than be ripped off by some mechaninc.

The car is an e200 1994 model.
