Default The digital gear selction and clock

On my 2000 C280 Sport with only 53,000 miles on it. The gear selecter and the clock show up but they have lines threw them and some parts will not show up? Some one help please.

there is no fix for the pixels on the instrument cluster going out- the dealer will tell you to replace the instrument cluster. you might try to find a speedometer repair shop- they can possibly fix it for you.

Faulty display.
No parts available unless you get an old instrument cluster from a breakers and DIY
New instrument cluster + coding I'm afraid,
Ouch!

OK so there is a SMALL chance you can fix it for nothing.
Dependent upon your skills you can disassemble the instrument cluster and inspect the ribbon connector to the small display that is giving the problem.
IF YOU ARE LUCKY a little bit of attention at the connector COULD just fix the problem but if it is the display there is no way to fix. i.e one or more pins on the multiconnector not making the required circuit.
