defroster and heat not working

I have a 2003 e500 my defroster and heat is not wrking all of a sudden do you know what could be wrong is there a way that my setting on my heating could be off.

you probably need a water shut off valve most likely..... about 75 bucks at the dealer and a couple hours labor. really common on your car.
