Check engine codes on 1990 300ce
So, my wife and I bought a 1990 300ce. The check engine light is on so I did the whole self diagnosis process and the LED flashed 16 times for the first code, and 17 times for the second. I tried to look up the codes on Mitchell On Demand 5 at work and it only listed 10 possible codes. I haven't gotten a repair manual for the car yet, so I have no other information on it except what limited info On Demand has. If anyone has any input I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks,
Dan

RE: Check engine codes on 1990 300ce
i'd get it checked out by your indy mech. before you start buying random items. But at least you know where to look. I had the same code come up, decided to randomly replace the o2 sensor since it dealt with air, haha, and the light went away. I don't recommend it though.
