I just did 87 300d it is simple. Drain the coolant disconnect the hoses & tranny lines [ if automatic] their also was 2 bolts holding the tranny lines that needed to be removed. On top of the rad there are 2 clips to lift off and once off just lift the rad up & out. So simple even a caveman can do it.

Yah, I figured it out. The fan shrowd was blocked by the fan, so it was difficult to remove the radiator. On the year I did, 87 or so, you could just pull the radiator up after the clips, coolant lines and transmission lines were pulled. Down at the bottom of the rad, two little round things attach to the bottom, to hold it in place. That was the only funky part to the entire thing.
I pulled up the rad and one of the round things stuck, and I tried to put the new one in, which already had one. Figured it out and retied the transmission line. Did this on some guys car and earned $50. Easier to make $ fixing cars then it is to work on computers (my day job) at least on craigslist. People hate working on cars, but I like it.
