2. Is there any way to to know whther my car has all th required wirings to get a CD changer installed.
3. How to install the CD changer. I know the location is in trunk on left side. Is it just plug and play?

Hi,
I think the best thing is to have it installed by a professional, unless you are familiar with fiber optic wiring.
I own an e-320, 2000 like you, and I recently had one installed. It's a 6 cd Mercedes Benz changer, and It cost me, including labor, $747.25 At the dealership they would charge you over $1.000.00 You can't beat that. The place is " CARTRONICS, AUTO STEREOS, ALARM SYSTEMS. I live in the South Florida area, you may have to check on line to see if you have one in your area. Good luck.

I have a 94 E320. I watched the installation of the CD changer. I found a used OEM 6 disc changer. The installer pulled the liner over the wheel well out and located the pigtail for the changer. You plug it in and put the liner back in and the changer stays out so it lies in the recesses of the wheel well. A couple sheet metal screws with rubber gromet washers will hold the changer in place. I suppose if you had a non-OE changer you would need the adapter to connec to the factory pigtail.
