I just purchased a Mercedes 6 Disk Cd Changer for my 2000 E320. It is a suppose to be a plug and play. I looked in the trunk, but I don't see and plugs or wires. Where should I look? Where does it mount?
Thanks

Remove the drivers side rear trunk panel...you will see the wire harness for the cd changer zip tied at the top of the wheel well.....
The CD changer mounts in the pocket on the drivers side of the trunk..a OE bracket and or a Hunter carpet covered bracket will work

I connected a small three wire connector. Is there suppose to be any other wires connected? The cartridge came out and I loaded a CD, but the head unit isn't seeing a Cd changer!!!

Ok, never mind. I found all the wires. It works great. Now I can't locate anyplace on the drivers side pocket to mount it. The unit came with a mounting bracket. It has two tabs on teh top. One looks like it slides into a slot, and the other end has a hole for a screw or bolt. Any suggestions? Do I have the correct bracket?

I would go to EBAY. I got mine there for my C Class. My E Class came prewired and one already insalled. Do not go to a dealer. NO LIE HERE. For them to put in a CD Changer and get the unit they wanted to charge me $1,000 with everything. Thats no joke either.
