I have a 2000 E320 Wagon.</P>


How do you change the ashtray light in the front? Is it easy/hard to do?</P>

 

I had my 01 clk430's ash tray light bulb replacement once, under warranty though. Onthe invoice, it stated that the center console was removed&amp; replaced.

 

have a bigger problem with my ashtray wont stay closed, mine is 94 e320 so ashtray may have diffrent design but the mechanism may be similar, havent solved my problem yet but have popped out actual ashtray, at bottom of ashtray section is 2 scews which hold ashtray module (piece of console) in place, have managed to pull section forward including wood trim but am now stuck in how to get ashtray module past a securing bar, ( this bar seems like overkill seeing as I had to remove 2 screws to oull unit forward ( 1/2 way out) so if anyone else can help......help!!!!!! [&gt;:] I ve tried reasonable force but have stopped in case I break/snap something, thier must be something else less obvious to get it out????
