Default Aftermarket Navigation System for e500

Hello all,

I recently purchased a 2003 e500, and I am interested in installing an aftermarket Navigation System. My top priorities are finding a system that integrates well into the existing dash and is user-friendly. The car is equipped with the 6-disc CD changer, so that dash space is not available.

Can anyone provide suggestions or resources?

Hi Brett,

Retrofitting a comand head unit in dash and a separate navigation drive in the trunk is possible in a 2003 W211. Depending on what head unit you currently have in dash, the install may require some extra parts... Also, you may need another trunkliner, depending on what options your car came with from factory.
