'98 E300 TD CD Changer just installed a used one and displaying a CD Error Message?!?!?!?!
Ok, so I just bought a used M-B original CD Changer from a kid in Toronto Canada and I just plugged it in my car. I then turned on the stock head unit and pushed the CD button and it said "CD Error" and also when I push the cartirdge eject button on the CD changer, the cartridge does not come out.
WFT is going on? Do I have a busted CD changer or what?

Ok, so I went to an M-B dealer here in Toronto Canada, and they looked at my CD changer for a little bit and determined that it is broken! So they referred me to a local repair shop to get it fixed. So I left the dealership and went to the repair shop and they said that its going to be pretty expensive to have it fixed ($100 - $300 Canadian). At this point, I am already in at $150 Canadian from buying the CD changer used off a stranger (stupid me not checking it first). [:@]
Well, I will post back once I get the changer back from the repair shop and post the amount they charged me to fix it!

Ok, so I went to the repair shop on Saturday morning and picked up my cd-changer. I pluged it in the car soon after and it works like a dream, its amazing. It works now as if it is brand new! I am very happy with the work that the shop did!
So it cost $170 Canadian to fix it. Expensive but worth it in my mind.
