The passenger side remote mirror has come loose on my 97 E320. When I bend it back and look inside, there is a spring not attached to anything. The only apparant place for this to be connected is a small stub that sticks out, but when I put a pliars on the spring to pull it over, the spring just pulled out of the hole in which it was sitting.

I wasn't able to reinsert the spring and get it to catch on anything.

Anyone know what I need to do to fix this loose mirror?
