97 E320 Shift **** removal
Recently I bought a new shift **** for my e320 97 because need to be replaced.
Could some one told me how to remove theshift **** to be able to change it?

to remove shift ****..turn the collar at base of shift **** handle counterclockwise one quarter turn, then lift up.....the whole **** should come up..
put some tape on it so you don't mar it.
