'90 300E 4-matic, driver's front tire wear
Friends
I have a '90 300e 4-matic that has slowly been pulling more to the right for the 5 years I have had the car. I have crossed the 230,000 mile marker.
I had the alignment checked by the dealer and all is spot-on. The outer rim of the tread of the driver's front tire wears down in a few thousand miles. I am told that the camber of the tire is top-away from the car, but the dealer tells me there is no camber adjustment. No other tires are showing strange wear. I have to hold the steering wheel about 25 degrees to the left to drive straight.
I am told that 4-matics do chew up tires, and have no idea if this is related. I do believe that this issue is isolated to the driver's from suspension.
Has anyone seen this before or have any suggestions?
I thank you in advance for your help.
