722.4 ATF & Differential Fluid Question
What is the Mercedes spec # for the ATF fluid on a 1993 300D with 722.4 transmission? I have read it is Dexron III, is this correct?
Also, what is the Mercedes spec # for the oil to be used in the differential? I'd like to use a synthetic.
Thanks - Brad

You should get your ATF details by putting in the VIN in the following site:
http://old.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng
For diff, any synthetic with 75W to 90W will do.
