6liter 88 300ce ignition wire set has 7 wires, what is one extra wire for?

HI, I have an 88 300ce. Recently I plan to replace my ignition wires for my 6 spark plugs. But I found out a set of ignition wires consists of 7 wires. It seems the 7th wire is not for spark plug. Please tell me what is it for? Thanks

maybe it's from ignition coil to the ignition distributor cap...middle.
