Default 300 wagon

hi just got the old wagon out of the shop! so 1400 later had intake sensor problems anyway
driving home it is hard to turn and idle is just on the fence between stall and no stall you know the feeling ? So the question is does the power steering pump effect the idle ?

and what is causing the hard to turn I am afraid of the answer. Thanks

I'm guessing you already checked the power steering level?
Have you bled thee air out of the system?
If you were low on fluid and topped it off recently, you need to find the leak and repair it. Could be you're drawing air which of course leaves you with very hard steering.
