I have been looking at older MB diesels. In fact I was thinking of purchasing a 300D for big money with really low mileage but then came across this 97 with 90,000 for about 9,000 dollars. It looks good. Does anyone have any thoughts on this please?

 

If you have a need for speed then only the 300E (gas) will do it for you.
240D is extremely slow and the 300D is marginally better but still slow. Turbo diesel is the way to go.
