I need the defroster vent at the top of the dash for the passenger side of my 2012 E550 Cabriolet. This is the small rectangular vent above the AC vent, facing upwards, for the defroster.

It is not available as its own part...but is available as part of a complete dashboard which I don't need. I can't 3D print it as there is no online model for it. I can't buy it from a parts house as they do not sell it that way. That leaves a wrecking yard. Do you know of any here in the US that might specialize in Mercedes? The few I have contacted here in Florida do not have it.

 

We have the same vehicle! Only my issue supposedly is not uncommon for E550's. 🤦‍♀️ I'm wondering about checking a record yard also so I'll keep my eyes open for you! See picture for my problem 🤦‍♀️

Price over $900 for part. Needs unit replaced, bt the unit works fine! 🙆‍♀️
