Does anyone else out there agree that the new E class sedan looks really cheap? The rear tail lights look like a camry/lexus and just the lines on it are terrible. The car just has this cheap plasticy/boxy look to it. Unlike the previous E class that just looked heavy and solid. What a huge disappointment.

When you see a benz drive by, it looks like money, this car looks like every other Hyundai/Lexus/Toyota Full sized sedan on the road. Sure it may have some technology in it, but I'll stray and stick to a CLK. Was in the market for a sedan and hoping this was it, but I'll pass.. the new 5 series is above and beyond this one.

Even the C class looks better than this.. how did they get this one so wrong? The E Coupe gets away with it, but the sedan.. take it to the yard. scrap it..

I disagree, I think the E550 has nice lines and it's fresh with great tech.

 

E Class in Sport guise looks pretty mean - it may take time to grow on you, like the E60 5 Series did, but it does grow on you and it is selling like hot cakes...

 

I disagree completely,the 2010 E class sedan is a wonderful car both inside and out.The interior with its lavish wood paneling,ambient lighting, plush seating but firm, and great navigation system not to mention the Harmon Kardon sound system can beat the competion hands down.
Exterior, the lines are very nice and soothing and cannot be compared to the cheaper Asian or Japanese products.
Finally,the ride and drive of this car is great,if you take the time to compare it to like vehicles by driving them yourself you will see what I mean.
I bought a 350 E sedan 4matic in July and so I am speaking from experience.By the way, I tried a Cadillac CTS, a Lincoln MKZ , BMW and decided the Mercedes was the best!

 

Welcome MB Forum world, I have a 2010 e550 with 52K on it. My battery died after being parked for a couple days, I went to jump it from the Jump Posts in the engine but nothing happened. I then went to charge my battery in the trunk and well long story short my car still wont start. Wont crank or nothing. All lights inside and out are working. I go to start my car and all I hear is a hiss from the engine nothing else. Please any help!!!

I checked all my fuses and can't seem to find out what happened, is there a reset button somewhere that I can try??
