Default 2008 E350s and Burnt CDs

I just had this happen, you guys. My E350 is just 3 months old, and I was listening to a burnt CD and the system made a loud shrill and just died! I had to turn it back on... Later, called the service advisors and they tell me that, somehow, it's a common thing, that Mercedes don't like burnt CDs. Huh? Somebody tell me, should I stick with the high quality CDs now in my car? That'll, like, totally cost me an arm and a leg... Madness, I tell you, madness! [:@]

Other words, guys, I need your help...

My car is still a bit new, but just today, I was listening to a burnt CD and, I guess on the highest note (yeah, sorry, but it was Britney Spears), the stereo systems just gave a high shrill noise like it was possessed by aliens, and just died... I waited a few seconds b/f turning it on again, and listened to the same burnt CD w/o any problems for another good 30 minutes while driving home... I later went home and called the service advisors, who tell me that Mercedes Benz and burnt CDs aren't really good friends... I'd like your professional opinion, should I steer clear of burnt CDs and just stick with ordinary pre-recorded artists' CDs? Ugh, this is just troubling me... Hope you can help!

Try a disc, burnt from a playlist in itunes.Build a short playlist and copy to a cd.See how that plays.I have no issues and they all run fine.

Maybe the E350 doesnt like Britney Spears?I would try another type of burn CD. Try Sony,Memorex CD-R anything but what you are using.
