Hello, Im somewhat new to the service codes on these cars, I do have a 2007 350E and understand it will need a 30,000 mile check up soon ? In any event it's showing a count down of how many days until service D.

Question 1 - what is the average cost for Service D around 28,800 miles

Question - 2 where is a fair mechanic in St. Louis that can do this service outside of the dealer arena.

Question - 3 If no private independent service is suggested in St. Louis for this what dealers are fair on this type of service.

you dont have to do the D service, its actually a larger service which includes cabin filters new wiper blades, tire rotation if applicable, check spare tire, run a diagnostic test, lube roof, doors and trunk latches, oil change, road test, and some small other items. you can just request to do a minor service, usually 175-225$ for the small service and 450-550 large service. keep in mind that you do need to use mobil1 synthetic oil. and a MB fleece oil filter is highly recommended.
