Hi, The other day I walked up to my car and hanging from the drivers side rear bumber area was what appears to be a plate with two wires attached to it. It is coated with a black rubber. Some of the rubber wore off while being dragged and it looks like a copper plate. Is it some kind of grounding plate? And where does it attach to, I cant figure out where it fell from. Thanks guys...

I had the same problem. I kept stuffing it back in place and eventually it just disappeared. I haven't had any problems with the car and I have no idea what it did
