First winter with my 2000 E320 4MATIC. Living here in Canada we have some real cold days. In the last 2 weeks we've had -45 degree temps and the car acted up like a child in a candy store. Add all sorts of malfunctions - but nothing was ever wrong.... Except the engine light is staying on due to some sensor problem...need to bring it to the garage now. no big issues...Starts and takes off - just needs to heat up as it has 8.2 litres of oil in the pan.

Other than that...The car handles great in the snow. I have winter tires all around and it handles like charm. No issues with sliding off the road...Pure traction control with the 4MATIC.

One issue - the channel to the air filter is not that protected. Sure it has a screen, but nothing to stop snow... I had been on the road in a storm for several hours and with the wisking of snow & lake effect snow...it manged to trap itself inside the channel to the air filter...not good! But nothing got past the air filter to air chamber. Just needed to replace the air filter. The cost on those vary from $28 to $100 depending where you buy it.

Overall - no compaints...nice ride, great features...Would not drive anything else. If you have one - need a questions answered, please ask.
