My child spilled water in the middle console of my 1999 E 430 where the window, mirror and trunk switches are. Now I cannot get the windows, trunk, signals, wipers, or power seats to work. Also, my alarm will not stop going off when I drive the car. I just took the fuse out to stop the noise. Please help!

Classic problem and symptoms.
Best line of attach is turn off the car immediately and wait for things to dry out. With LUCK everything may come back OK without damage if it was pure water. However if the drink was cola or similar then the chances of all being well are extremely limited.
Not absolutely sure where you mean since I don't have a E class. However you will need to gain access to the switches and or controller that lies beneath if the fault remains after drying out. If there is a controller (computer) there then this may have been "fried" due to the liquid acting as an electrolyte and causing "shorts" between adjacent leads.
Alternatively if there are just straight switch contacts and connectors the deposit in the liquid has coated the connections causing low voltage short circuits. Cleaning the connections with pure water and drying them out (hairdryer etc) MAY recover the situation but the short circuits could have caused damage downstrean somewhere and fried a controller.
Usually the problem is liquid spilled adjacent to the auto change speed lever. This has a controller located immediately beneath it!!
Hope this helps.

at best, yes....after shutting off and letting things dry, it may shrug it off and run fine. more likely is the need to replace the shorted parts. this can cost upwards of $1k. yes, an extremely tough lesson to learn. do NOT continue to drive !
