1999 E 320 Driver side rear turn signal

1999 E 320 Driver side rear turn signal
Driver side rear turn signal quit working. Front is OK but blinks very fast. Bought a new bulb but that did not resolve the problem
Does not seem likely it is a fuse as I would think the front and rear turn signals would be on the same fuse.
Anyone can help me please?
