Question 1998 E430 Oil Sensor Warning

Hey guys. I'm getting this warning pretty consistently now. I have plenty of oil, and it seems to be running fine, lubricating fine. Is this an easy fix? Do you know which sensor it is, any diagrams or how to's?
Thanks if you can help! Thanks even if you can't!

Definitely time to change the oil level sensor. No doubt about it. Most models have already been through one sensor at this age.

Thanks! That makes sense. I found a thread that said on the 98 E430, you have to drop the pan. As I just did an oil change in the fall, I'll wait until we're well into warm weather. I assume all that sensor does is report low oil? So I'll just be sure to keep an eye on it.

Make sure you get the correct sealant when you drop the oil pan. Do not try to use another product. Also, plan on this being a weekend job as you need to let the oil drain and clean the bottom of the block so that the sealant does its job.
