1994 E320 Sedan CD changer harness

Right off I have to admit that this is my first post at this forum -- though I have lurked for some time and benefited greatly from other's experience as a result.
That having been said, I am also a satisfied driver of a very clean 1994 E320 sedan. One upgrade that I would like to investigate is adding CD capability to the excellent radio/cassette deck in this car. The radio console does have a "CD" button and from what I have read here I should be able to add a trunk-mounted CD changer -- and the car may already be wired to support the same. MB-branded changers of the appropriate vintage are available at sites like eBay.
My question is where do I need to pull up the trunk lining to visually confirm that I have the correct cabling/connection for this device? Many of the sale/auction listings show a connector only and I would like to ensure that what we have here is physically compatible to what I see in an auction listing before I make the leap.
Thanks.
